How much salt should I use?
1.8% - 2.2% of total flour
Normal amount of salt
20g of salt for every 1000g of flour
Normal amount of salt
less than 1.2%
Bland
more than 2.2%
Too salty
NOTE: UK recently recommended 1.5% to be enough salt to taste good.
